If you are inclined to upload them, I'd be interested in seeing the binds anyway.

I just discovered this great forum and would like to share my first and only binding as well as what I have planned next. This oversewn binding of The Court of Owls was done a couple yeras ago by Herring and Robinson has a grey arrestox cover and maroon headbands. The gutter loss is minimal (see image below of the Warsuit spread), though going forward I will have everything handsewn if it can be. I've been very happy with my decision to have these bound. The volume collects:
    Batman vol 2 #1-8
    Batgirl vol 4 #9
Batman and Robin vol 2 #9
    Nightwing vol 3 #8-9
    Batman vol 2 #9
    Detective Comics vol 2 #9
    Batman vol 2 Annual #1
    Batman vol 2 #10-12

The dust jacket printed darker than expected and sadly the creators line gets a little lost. I've updated the design below, just haven't had time to print it. Also included is the arrestox material and the design for my next project I just sent off: a collection of The Hunt for Robin and Robin Rises in one volume.

I can't seem to get the images any larger as I've seen them elsewhere on the forum :/

But here's an imgur album with higher res images.

The updated dust jacket will look really good and that's a great run.
Batman related custom binds are something I really like, so that Robin book is after my own heart.

    Thanks!

As I wait for Robin Rises to come back from the bindery, I've decided to learn how to bind on my own. I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos and have managed to do a pretty good job, I think.

I started with a run that I wasn't too worried about messing up: Tony S. Daniel's run on Batman. The result was pretty good, but I made a classic rookie mistake by casing in the book upside down. I had to do a patch job to correct this. The result isn't great, as you will see in the photos below, but I plan on making a Table of Contents card that will hopefully cover the repair. Other than this mishap, I'm happy with how it turned out. Now I plan on moving on to some things that I would really like to get bound: Grant Morrison's Batman Gothic and Multiversity. I've got Wolverine by both Rucka and Millar that I would like to do as well.

I'll get a dust jacket printed for this and post pictures.

Here's Batman by Tony S. Daniel Ultimate Collection:
