On a totally unrelated note another reason I love custom binding is labeling the volumes as you please. For example if I wanted to bind the new uncanny Avengers series by Gerry Duggan, I would label it as Volume or series 3 because Marvel no longer puts the Volume no.s (although I understand why they stopped) , and if one was looking back at 2015 you would find that Marvel put out two Uncanny Avengers (2015) series which could get confusing. Or in the case of DC and Teen Titans you have the same writer writing multiple volumes ( Scott Lobdell 's coming back on).
