Thanks all - I’ll try to pop in more regularly.
TomSlick - hope it looks good on your shelf
JoeGuy - the trick to the spines is to make a separate file for just the spines of the books, then copy that over to each volume. I would also recommend fontsquirrel.com - fonts can make a huge difference in the design, so picking out good ones is very important. Keep at it, the best way to improve is to just keep making new ones.
Welcome back, Mr. Grayson!
The new stuff looks awesome as usual. I actually just found a full run of Kupperberg's Checkmate! in some local bargain bins. I have no idea the quality of the series, but once I've read it I might be in the market for another set of binds!

It's getting there! I like the cover and spine text now but I think the Batman on top of the spine might be a bight high (sorry if it was on the same spot before I didn't notice). His ears might be cut off after printing, you should always leave a bit of a safe zone around the edges of the pages so no important text or illustration will be cut off.
Also I think the text on the back is still hard to read. If you look at Grayson's Checkmate back cover that has a lot of text on it but the letters are more separated and a bit bigger. Maybe decrease the distance between the 3 lines that are set in large caps so you will have more space? Or just take out the top paragraph? I think the "ONE GOOD COP..." part does the job more effectively anyway.
Also there seems to be a "space" missing between SAVE and .TWO
I know we are making a lot of comments but don't give up, the next one gonna be smoother and then even smoother after that.

Looking slick man. The text above the creator names really runs together...some fonts are just like that but you might insert an extra space between words or something. Just look good like it’s one long word almost.
For bleed area. Keep in mind on cover art is going to wrap a bit (around to inside if cover). Houchen recommends .75 inches all thee way around the cover. Stretch your art into that bleed area but keep text away from it.

ugh, I didn't even notice that but I really should have. Although it's not too bad. You could try to take the font size a wee bit smaller and increase the space between the letters. Or take out the "the #1" maybe and increase the space between the letters?
This is the last thing I promise and it might just be me so let me know if this is a non issue but I think on the back the space between the 3 text blocks should be equal sized. I would increase the space between the lines in the first block and than move the second block down until the space above and below it is the same. It might won't look better but that's my first instinct.
Otherwise indeed it is looking slick!

Will post more when I receive them and I have time to take some pics, etc.
That looks very cool. Was it complicated getting a 4 omni set organised?
