Version 2, resized DC logo to be smaller and moved it down while also orienting it correctly. used the vertical foldout cover in place of the gradient on the spine.

I think this spine is a big improvement over v1, good work.

I bet this would be great printed directly on the book instead of on a dust jacket. Might make the print shop run out of orange ink though!

About 5 years back, I tried finding a place to have some of my collection bound in Montreal. The places I found were either too expensive or weren't all that interested. But I did find a lady that was willing to teach me how to do it for a fee, of course. So took the course and here are some of the results.
My first project was binding the Aztec Ace comics as I figured if I messed it up I could always find affordable copies on eBay to replace them.

One that I'm particularly proud of is this collection of the first 9 issues of the Conan Saga Magazine.

I bound this one in leather, only to realize a little later that the story has alot to do with animal rights, mea culpa, I guess

This story had been published in Heavy Metal Magazine but had never been collected (in English). So I did a little research and found nice quality scans on the web.
All the pages (except the first of the chapters) were double spread 11"×17" so I decided to keep them that way and have them printed recto and bind them that way.

I just sent the covers in for my All-Star Superman/DC One Million combo bind. Doing art on cover plus a dust jacket...I am at work, but will try to share some jpegs of the artwork tonight...there are tons of extra interiors in this one as well...I think it's going to come out pretty nice. At least I hope!

One more set...my Hitman books...covers pretty well done, this will be the next thing I send off, I'm thinking. Just need to find the time to really work on some interiors, get everything together, etc.

Those are cool, I like the Darkseid War one especially with the dripping spine logo and back cover.
