Default Why is Chip Zdarsky's Spectacular Spider-Man run gonna be "VERY Controversial"?

So recently, Chip Zdarsky, author of Howard the Duck and recently announced Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man, posted this image and quotes on his tumblr account, saying his run is gonna be VERY controversial.

    HTML Code:
    http://zdarsky.tumblr.com/post/158284795351/my-spiderman-run-is-going-to-be-very-controversial
Its the picture shows that Uncle Ben died by Natrual Causes not by murder, what do you think Zdarsky is trying to talking about?

Is he means his run is gonna be REALLY dividsive as JMS and Dan Slott's run, is he just teasing with the audience, or is he just joking around?

What are you guys' opinion about it?

    I'm thinking he's joking around.

Dude has an interesting sense of humor.

He did out Jughead as asexual so he is willing to press certain buttons.

Perhaps it's just me but Jughead being asexual was no surprise. The character has always been portrayed as more interested in food than people lol

Don't take it too seriously, it's all a joke. This man loves playing around, and I love it all.

I doubt it can be anymore controversial then the main book has been.

I doubt anything too ''crazy'' will happen since it's not the main book but like Frontier says it can't be anymore controversial than the main book has been.

I love how much of a loser he made Spider-Man in Howard The Duck, so funny. Though he thankfully he has said he's not writing him *that* dumb.

Joke. He's prone to kid around, and has a tendency to mock what is taken overly-seriously or overdone. In HtD he was mocking the many tired tropes that go with Spider-Man.

I'd be more "concerned" about the way he treats the supporting characters in the book than about how he treats his main character!

Maybe controversial is the new normal and a return to normalcy is the new controversial.

When it comes to Spider-Man these days, I'm generally pretty worried about both .
