    There is plenty of "bad" super-powered humans that want to conquer or destroy the world. It's not an exclusivity of evil mutants.

    PS: And one group "replacing" another is very relative: mutants are, by definition, humans that mutated. It's not a different species, mutants are not replacing humans: It's humans that mutate and evolve. Fearing that mutants are replacing humans is like fearing that a younger generation is replacing an older one. Your descendants are better adapted to live in a warmer (or colder) climat, more resistant to some illness, tolerate living at a higher altitude better. That happen(ed) in the human species. They are still your descendants, they are not out-there to replace you except in the sense that new generations replace older ones.

    Have you not noticed how many middle-age people hate teens/young adults in real life?

    Actually vice-versa.

    These teens/young adults do not like middle-aged people and really show no respect to the elderly.
