Default Wonder Woman: Steve Trevor #1

Steve Trevor #1 sends the soldier turned special agent on a mission against what DC calls “an ancient foe” without the help of his super-powered paramour.

“Steve and Diana’s longtime friendship, despite their coming from separate worlds, is inspiring. But in this story, we’ll get a chance to see Steve come face to face with a villain from Wonder Woman’s past, who he’ll have to overcome without her help, ” explained Seeley. “I’m excited to dive back into the life of Steve Trevor, and give him a new and crazy adventure of his own.”

Wonder Woman: Steve Trevor #1 is due out on shelves June 7, just after the June 3 theatrical release of the Wonder Woman movie.

You know, I've noticed they've been slowly backing away from always showing Diana with the Sword and Shield. WIN!!!!

I like Seeley, and I liked Seeley's handling of Steve in that JLvsSS tie-in, so this might be fun .

He still looks too much like Green Arrow with that beard though .

I wonder who the "ancient villain" is...

It'll be interesting to see which villain he has to go against, hope it's not Ares that would be so unimaginative.

Christian Duce will be on art duty. Nice match.

After Seeley used the phrase "original dude-in-distress" on his twitter, that might also be a nice title.

Wow, so surprised. I'm here for it!

Let's support it! I'm all for an on going soon! I also think they should do a book with Steve, Lois, and Selina.

Would POISON qualify as an "ancient foe"? Anyhoo...I'm hoping it's an adversary that Rucka isn't using in his book. Let's update some more WW rogues!

Actually, I hope it is...and it comes from the mythological side. Toss him into something where he's seemingly in over his head...

It was an action figure pun. I agree he should be up against something revised. Maybe a Rucka'd Dr Psycho?

I was hoping it'll be Zara and her Crimson Followers. I always wanted Steve to combat Zara and her cult, and this could be a great time to do so. We can update Zara, with a true Middle Eastern background and pyrokinesis, while also fleshing our Steve's character.
