Can't be Eli if his rights are still tied up.

Can't be Sam because we've already seen what costume he'll be sporting for the event.

People think it might be Night-Thrasher under a new identity, and I'm inclined to agree. Especially if Fabian Nicieza is involved.

...How could it be an All New Patriot if it was Eli? that would be like saying Stark is the All New Iron Man.

I must have missed something...what's going on with the rights to Eli? I would have thought Marvel owned him, just like the rest of the Young Avengers?

How are Eli's rights still tied up? Who is Marvel disputing them with?

I think there's some rights issue with the creator of Isaiah or Josiah that's preventing Marvel from using the Bradley family since they're all connected.

At least, that's the impression I'm under. It would explain why everyone at Marvel seems to pretend Eli doesn't exist.

Well that twitter statement doesn't really exclude its a new character, only that it is a new Patriot. Could be an existing character.

That makes sense. I just hope, for the sake of Eli's fans and the fans of the Bradley lineage as a whole, that Marvel gets that worked out soon.

All I know is that I hate the costume. Someone accurately mentioned that it reminded them of 3D man, which is a historically awful costume. That said, if it turns out to be 3-D man and the costume is some homage to that, I could give it a pass. Otherwise, imo, it's one of the worse costume designs of the last 5 years. I mean, the Scarlet Spider costume was bad, but it wasn't THIS bad.

Aside from it having goggles, what about this costume is similar to 3-D Man's outfit?

I hadn't heard of this before, but that sounds like a real shame. It's a shame that Eli is regulated to character limbo, when even Cassie Lang came back from the dead.
