DOOM PATROL appreciation thread!

I know everyone holds Morrison up as the gold standard when it comes to Doom Patrol but I still want to give some love to the Arcudi and the Giffen runs. Both great series that didn't have to go full on Morrison weird to be fun. Really since Morrison they have only been two not so good Doom Patrol runs and that was Pollack and then with Byrne.

Now I'll have to add both those runs to my read list. I recently finished Silver and Bronze Age X-Men; I got the omnibui on Ebay. More Doom Patrol is what I need.

Both of these were awesome! I need to dig them out and re-read them soon...

I'll take Pollack over Byrne any day of the week. And speaking of, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they're going to collect Pollack's run for the first time!

Anxious to get my hands on that as I’ve only read the Morrison, Giffen, and Way runs. Likely checking out the silver age omnibus too, despite that era not always being my cup of tea overall.

Recently started reading Morrison after Kupperberg's run. Wow! Literal overnight change. Immediately Morrison references W. Burroughs and Borges!

I know they've confirmed Rita/Elastigirl, but I wonder if we'll see the rest of the Doom Patrol, and if we'll get Chief, Cliff, and Larry in there.

I'd think the Brotherhood of Evil can't be far behind.
