Lightbulb How close do Marvel2099 & ImageLaunchTitles line up

How did this line of thinking start?
X-Factor Era had cybernetic stuff. Pitt looks like Hulk 2099. There are an many ways to blow this "theory" apart but I was hoping some other fans might like the idea.
Basically what if Marvel had let the original Image creators launch 2099 with the ideas they later ended up using for their own creator owned titles.

The nasal deficiencies of Pitt and Hulk 2099 were the product of some aesthetic fit in the 90s. Heck if I can recall what it was though.

The cyborgs were a result of movies like "Terminator" and "Robocop". The military elements (pouches, straps, boots) drew on the push towards realism and the visual impact of various action movies.

Had the Image guys stuck around, there likely would have been Marvel characters that resembled the Image characters (or pre-existing Marvel characters would have been redesigned).
Current pull-file: Batman the Detective, Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, Marvel Dark Ages, Nightwing, Superman Son of Kal-El, Transformers, Transformers: King Grimlock, Warhammer 40,000 Sisters of Battle

I was looking for a senior member to post this thread, I didn't really expect positive responses without paying dues somehow. The idea may or may not belong to me, just looking to talk about comics online with other comic book fans.

Why would you expect a negative or abusive response for a question about the aesthetic tastes of the 90s?

I was hoping not just answers on aesthetics but a collaboritive rundown of what Marvel 2099 would have looked like with Liefield, Portacio, etc behind it. Look at how special the first couple of Ghost Rider 2099 issues were, imagine if Dale Keon had been arting Hulk 2099 or Todd McFarlane Spider-Man 2099https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...6ee12c615c.jpg
