I can't really speak for Kong until I get a chance to see the film, but severe crippling CIS is the only explanation I can come up with for Buraki's absolutely idiotic actions in D-War. He's distracted twice from eating the thing that will give him absolute cannot-be-killed immortality by gunfire that doesn't even damage him. (And even if it did, obtaining absolute cannot-be-killed immortality immediately would be the smart way to deal with that situation!) I'm not sure if it's exploitable in the Arena without distractions, but if it is, Kong's got an out.

That said, IIRC Buraki was unharmed by helicopter miniguns, so he might be a tad tougher than Kong. I think Kong's a bit faster, though.
