Considering that the man who raised him is attempting to cause everything that he raised him to fight against, it's a shame he hasn't been in this plot even at this point.

Let's just rip this bandage off so we can get this Hydra Cap storyline over with and hopefully move on to better things. I hate how they've been lecturing us on 'See what weakness this infighting has wrought?!' when we've been sick of the infighting and Hero vs Hero for years yet they kept going with that angle anyway.

I wouldn't really call this hero vs hero. Cap isn't being portrayed as a hero here and all the other heroes will be fighting against him.

It's got a better setup going for it with a corrupted hero, but when it comes down to it it's still big name hero vs. big name hero(es).

I'm not talking about this event outside of it lecturing us about how the hero vs hero has caused weakness. The hero vs hero however has been a plot that Marvel kept leaning on since Civil War whether it be events like AvX, Schism, Civil War II, IvX, etc. the reader has long since grown weary of it and yet the powers that be for this plot point happening again and again now want to lecture us. It's a bit of an annoying hypocrisy.

Because Carol is amazing that is why.

In actuality it's not that far from the truth the miles vision as flawed as it was telling and foreshadowing of the truth even if the vision wasn't that quite clear I think the miles vision was a scenario of what could happen when Steve reveals himself as a hydra agent hence why miles kills Steve for betraying and possibly killing the other heroes/Miles's friends.

She was also right to use the planetary defense shield with the impending chitari invasion coming.

I was talking about both actually lol since the miles vision foreshadows secret empire but I think even we know that it's unlikely that miles will actually kill Steve during secret empire.
