Default Favorite Film For Every Year You've Been Alive

This was something some friends of mine were doing on Facebook, and it seemed fun. Give your favorite movie for every year you've been alive. These might be cinematic masterpieces, or just stuff that brings you more joy than traditional favorites.

    My list...

1985- Back to the Future (there were some notable films I hadn’t seen from that year)

    1986- Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

    1987- The Princess Bride

    1988- Grave of the Fireflies

    1989-Henry V

    1990- Goodfellas

    1991- Silence of the Lambs

    1992- Unforgiven

    1993-Schindler’s List

1994- Forrest Gump (not a knock on Pulp Fiction or The Shawshank Redemption)

    1995- Toy Story

    1996- Trainspotting

    1997- Wag the Dog

    1998- Saving Private Ryan

1999- South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut

    2000- Requiem for a Dream

2001- Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring

    2002-City of God

2003- Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

    2004- Kill Bill Volume 2

    2005- Munich

    2006- The Lives of Others

    2007- There Will Be Blood

    2008- The Dark Knight

    2009- Up

    2010-The Social Network

    2011- Hugo

    2012- Zero Dark Thirty

2013- The Wolf of Wall Street

    2014- The Grand Budapest Hotel

    2015- Mad Max: Fury Road

    2016- Moonlight
    Sincerely,

I'm only up to age 13 in making my list (1979), but I'm already tearing my hair out over what I have to leave off. Jeez, 1974 alone...

I doubt I will do this because I am so friggen old. But where is everyone seeing the list of movies by year to pick from?
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

I just look at the Wikipedia page for each year... "1979 in film", "1980 in film," etc.

Colors is a classic and I'm not questioning your parents at all or your capacity as a child, but goddamn. That movie for a 9 year old?!

I thought my parents letting me watch gross-out horror movies as a kid with them made me a bad-ass, but this one takes the cake.
