Yes but the content in Colors is a lot more complex than Fright Night, Commando, Death Wish 3, Goblins, Critters, etc. Hell, the movie is still relevant with today's race and policing issues, *especially* in LA.

My mum is an action junkie so I grew up on action franchises, cannon films, and grindhouse movies as for nudity there is a big gap between me and my siblings of 11 years so they were teens when I was little and they showed me many inappropriate films like 80's slashers so my parents knew they lost that battle. The only time my mum got mad that them when they took me to see Nightmare on Elm Street at 5 years old only because she learned it was almost impossible to calm a 5 year old screaming in the middle of the night as they come running into her bed "Freddy is real and was in my dreams".

Fun fact: Of the 14 people who've listed their films so far, 6 (including me) chose Pulp Fiction for their 1994 selection. A bold statement, to paraphrase Vincent Vega, on just how cool that movie was!

I liked this idea too so I thought I would try it, assuming I was going backwards with my age. Of course the further back the harder it is to have seen all the logical options or pick anything distinctive...

    1976 - Murder By Death
    1975 - Jaws
1974 - The Godfather Part II

I was looking at the other lists and Goodfellas pops up 5 times for 1990. Two of my favorite movies.

Admittedly, if it wasn't for Tremors (I'm a longtime monster movie fan), I also would've gone with Goodfellas for 1990.

I'm really bad at picking favorite movies because I like so many. I think I will give this a try when I'm not so lazy. Fun idea.
