Well, this summer we'll have:

Secret Empire

the still-rolling out X-Men relaunch

the Edge of the Venomverse mini

the Weapons of Mutant Destruction crossover between Weapon X and TA Hulk

and Generations

That's a lot to keep any reader busy right there.

Beyond the summer you know there's going to be plenty of post-SE relaunches and so on. What those will entail, who knows, but they'll likely fall under the rumored "Make Mine Marvel!" branding.

You haven't burnt out on event fatigue yet, I see.

Personally, I'd like to see some done-in-one stories, or 2-4 part story arcs and Limited series make a come back. I find these to be more character-focused, and where some significant character development can be made without having to take place in the current 46-part cosmic crisis.

Kinda sick of having the Marvel Universe upended every 6 months.

Actually I am done with Marvel as of right now. X Men prime will be my last New Marvel comic for the entire year of 2017.


Like I said, I'm going back to what I've been doing. Buying old back issues from the comic shop so I can catch up on old stuff I missed out back then in the 1980s and 1990s such as Nightstalkers, Alf, alpha Flight, 1980 Marvel Conan, original Generation X and original Amazing Spider man and various old Batman stuff

There's nothing upcoming at marvel ill want to buy into mostly due to feeling very alienated by the current versions of characters and within mythos agenda I see too much of imo

I'm waiting for secret empire to be over with after my dissapointment with CW2 I've no time and no desire to buy into another event so soon (ill admit secret empire looks promising so I might get the trade of the main story)

Nothing else at the moment interests me

conversely I was buying all dc rebirth and would still if space allowed but I get about 25 hooks a month still

Is Eternity War a definite thing? I've thought it made sense to wrap up Ewing's storyline in a big way (particularly with the Inhumans in space too), but I haven't been following Ultimates so I wasn't certain what's going on with that.
