Original X-men (O5) Appreciation Thread 2018

REALLY tough choice for me, between these 3:

... especially right now, as they ALL got somethin' goin' on, that has my attention & is keepin' me interested. Cullen Bunn's a MAJOR part of that, as is Magneto's presence, and the eventual appearances of Emma & of course Polaris also. But I want to know what's next for the O5 too, and what's ultimately in store for them, and how we're gonna get there. IDK... I just hope fans give 'em a chance, is all, I'm going to.

And in the meantime, while I'm still tryin' to decide who to pick between Jean, Warren, or Bobby, I'll just do some pic postin'! ;-D

The O5 is probably the only team in Marvel that can work with those Voltron Force uniforms. Somehow, it works for them where any other group would look like they were trying too hard (Well, maybe the FF could pull it off too, but no one else).

I've always liked the original 5 members, but Cyclops is my favorite of them.

True. I still want individualized costumes eventually though. If they ever branch out and join other teams, it would look weird to still have the old "team" costume.

I think it would be cool if the teen X-men travel back to the past with Magneto and encounter the original X-Factor! That team was formed bc Jean did NOT want them to work with Magneto but how would they react to seeing teen versions of themselves aligned with him instead of Xavier? That could make for a good story arc

This thread is for ALL things O5. There is no distinction made in the poll. Its your overall impression but likely more so for the originals since they have the most history
