    Default Comic Strip Thread

I didn't see a thread for comic strips. Forgive me if there is one. But I love reading "Get Fuzzy" everyday. It's hilarious. Here it is if you want to check it out:

Does anyone else read daily strips? Are there any great ones out there?

It's been in re-runs for the last 2 or 3 years, hasn't it?

I don't know. I just read it every day because it's funny. It may be though because I purchased the collected book of strips years back.

Not that there's anything wrong with reading strips that are in re-runs, of course. I don't read the re-runs of Peanuts, although I know a lot of folks do, bu I do read Calvin and Hobbes, Cul de Sac, Poor Richard's Almanac, and Foxtrot, all of which are in re-runs. Those strips hold up; they were good when they were published, and they still are. (The Sunday strips of Foxtrot are new, but the weekday ones are re-runs.) As for strips on their first run, I especially enjoy Pearls Before Swine and a number of others (as well as Webcomics, of course).

Order of the Stick is one of my favorites, as a somewhat recently retired gamer.

Mandrake the magician is one of my favorites, it's supposedly still syndicated according to king, in rerun form since '13. Although I have yet to find a paper that still publishes the dailies. Ditto for Flash Gordon Sundays, also supposedly still in syndication.

The closest paper to me that publishes The Phantom is News Tribune in Missouri (Sundays)

I like get fuzzy as well my local paper still publishes it
