I'd suggest replacing nearly any X-Book artist with him, even without Syaf having revealed himself as a bigoted tool. Russell's stuff just looks that damned good. The lines are good, but it's when he inks that it really takes off. Immonen was better with the lines, but Dauterman is the king of ink.

Since Astonishing X-Men rotates artists every issue, it would be easier to get Dauterman to try that book. We should all annoy Mark Paniccia on his twitter about it. Dauterman would be drawing Rogue, Gambit, Psylocke, Mystique and Bishop! <3
