Storm’s ignored mutant power

So I read X-Men Prime and I also read X-Men Gold #1 and I was wondering something. Does Storm wear wigs or does she have the mutant ability to grow hair really fast? I can't think of any other way she could go from a mohawk to a full head of hair so quickly.

Storm does have mutant hair follicles. She can stimulate them with electrical charges to make hair grow on command.

My point is we cant blame people believing that Storm has the power to grow her hair by will. Like i said, we've seen her hair drawn inconsistently and that Storm used lightning before to change her hair.

Tbh her hair was pretty long already for quite some time, even on the mohawk style. And sometimes it was more of a sidecut than a mohawk.

Her ability to rearrange molecules has nothing to do with her weather powers.

3. "Using magic"
4. "Absorb any type of energies"
5. "Heal/reenergize by striking herself with lightning"

Rearranging molecules is a natural offshoot of her main elemental powers. Thunderstorms are natural particle accelerators. The electromagnetic forces generated within them create gamma waves and anti-matter. Manipulating the electrostatic charge of molecules is an application of the same thing. A lightning bolt is just a trail of electrons after all, and electrolysis of water is a common example of manipulating molecular bonds. She should be able to heal, get stronger, think faster and all that sort of thing too, given that all cellular activity is powered on ATP, which is just a very elaborate way to harvest electrons. A lightning bolt(or much smaller electrical charge) could top her off much more easily!
