Why 6? Because we got 6 Xmen in MVC3/UMVC3 namely Storm, Magneto, Sentinel, Wolverine, X-23 and Phoenix. I know Deadpool is an xmen character too but we will not include him on this thread.
This is not about which xmen should benin the game but rather about which xmen do you think will be in Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite.

I'd expect:
Wolverine - Duh. Possibly with an OML alt skin.
X-23 - Especially because her profile is likely to be considerably raised thanks to Logan. Will likely have her ANW costume as an alt skin.

I think the Sentinel already lost its importance. If theyre still going for a robotlike character, they should go for Apocalypse.

Realistically I'd think it would be a mix of the X-Men that they're actually pushing, so...
Wolverine, X-23, Phoenix, Magneto, Storm, and Shadowcat.

If the rumor about X-men characters only being DLC is true. Then I expect them to go with the characters that have been in the game for 20+ years. That means.

Unfortunately I don't see anyone else getting a push since the same person who revealed Marvel's disinterest in including any of the X-men in the main roster, revealed that few will be DLC only.
