UNCANNY AVENGERS #22 - Spoilers

[Captain M]

- Cable is still out. Deadpool is healing.

- Beast completed the brain surgery successfully. He removed the telepathic part of Xavier's brain from Red Skull.

- HydraCap comes and wants to take the brain but Rogue and Torch fly away and burn the brain part. It's hard on Rogue.

- Cap and SHIELD take Red Skull.

- Wasp wants to finally take a vacation and Quicksilver jokes and says maybe the team should separate asap before the vacation gets delayed again.

- Everyone gets together to have drinks that night before they split the team. They promise to keep this to themselves. Wasp leaves early, admits Deadpool is an all right guy.

- Rest of the team raise their glass for the fallen. It's a pretty sweet scene.

- Deadpool leaves and Rogue follows him. Rogue feels guilty but Deadpool doesn't blame her. Rogue takes DP and flies and kisses him. Rogue says after Red Skull, the stuff in DP's head don't bother her.

- They kiss again and Rogue passes out only for Wonder Man to come out of her?

Overall very cool issue. Didn't have any action but it didn't bother me at all because the dialogue and the overall feel was very lighthearted and was interesting imo. Duggan's run has been great and while I'm sad to see him go, I'm very interested to see where Jim Zub take the team and all in all happy that the book goes on.

Best way to Honor Xavier and save what's left of his memory. Makes me wonder if the rest of the X-men were to learn of this later on ? I mean given Marvel went out of their way to NOT include them in anyway possible and don't say AXIS was the start of it because it wasn't.

What's funny is he's been healed basically ALL of Spider-Man/Deadpool... so I don't know when any of that takes place. Because he's not healed in his main ongoing either.
