I'm aware. I'm just commenting on the whole is Tessa's version Brunnhilde or not.

Granted I also phrased it that way since until the Exiles announcement it wasn't clear if Marvel would back that view of that Valkyrie's sexuality, even if Tessa herself viewed it that way.

Valkyrie isn't a big enough character for me care if Marvel opts to change her to one resembling Tessa. I'd probably be a good idea given how well the new Heimdell is being received. Google "Heimdall", and see what I mean. The power of Idris Ilba Elba has made it so that people immediately identify him as Heimdell rather than the comic version, and brand continuity is important imo.

Are you saying Mcu (whatever version) continuity is more important than comics existing continuity just for the sake of it?

They've already said that they aren't changing 616 Valkyrie. This is an AU version, so it's a moot point.

Comics audience and movie audience are two different things. GOTG are box office giants on the big screen yet are not characters that comic-book readers are interested in reading about.

    Also it's Heimdall, not Heimdell.

Did Marvel not begin drawing GotG's characters far more similarly to their mover counterparts after their films became blockbuster hits?

However you spell his name, he's no associated more heavily with Idris Elba than the original comic version.

I think this example don't justifies anything. Comics are Comics, Movies are Movies.

It's the same brand, and brand continuity is important.

True, but it is not necessary to transform the entire Marvel Universe into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the sake of it, it is a lack of respect to many creators of characters from past years and decades, to see how some characters were created in a certain way to be changed for absurd reasons, or simply because some characters do not appear in the movies, automatically being ignored and forgotten in comics (like Amora the Enchantress).

This....love the way the Guardians of The Galaxy thing has backfired on Marvel comics. No need for cheap imitators.
