IP ownership and rewriting toy history, the curious case of POP and MOTU
I always knew She-Ra was never going to appear in the 2002 reboot of He-Man, no matter what the Four Hoursemen said. This just confirmed it.
Also: in the comments someone mentioned that the Horde, as far as the toys before they were exported to She-Ra, represented Universal Monsters.
Dracula = Hordak
Wolfman = Grizzlor
Creature from Black Lagoon = Leech
Frankenstein = Modulok
Mummy = unproduced Mummy figure (sketches are floating around)
I'm guessing Mantenna was supposed to represent...Invisible Man? Cause when the Invisbile Man is in bandages he wears googles/shades. Could represent bug-out eyes, which is Mantenna's feature.

All the Horde representations of the Universal Monsters including Mantenna representing Invisible Man make sense to me.

To that end I wonder if Shadow Weaver was supposed to represent Bride of Frankenstein, despite never sharing any scenes with Modulok (I don't think they shared any scenes though I could be wrong). While she didn't have a beehive, both of her forms (before and after her transformation) had a headress that seemed to be a nod to that. A hennin pre transformation, her hood with a liripipe that extends upward instead of flopping downward post transformation. Plus, of course, the robe.
Also makes sense to me.
I think you are in the right., despite never sharing any scenes with Modulok (I don't think they shared any scenes though I could be wrong).
Thank you for including the wikipedia links for 'hennin' and 'liripipe' that explain what those 2 words mean I did not know these words.
The name Light Spinner comes from the UK Comics. NOT from Filmation.

The Eldritch Mist (She-Ra Episode Review)
To finally drive away the Horde from planet Etheria is to be an exciting story and it is to be the conclusion for the goal of the Great Rebellion and its members.
However, afterwards, the character Adora cannot simply be with her family on planet Eternia.
That is because of the She-Ra character being needed on the entire planet of Etheria regardless of the Horde no longer being present.
To me, the ONLY way that the Adora character can settle down is for the Sword of Protection to be bestowed upon another woman.
This other woman then becomes the new secret identity of the She-Ra: Princess of Power character.
