I got to the party pretty late, two years late, but Spider-Gwen is really fucking good. It's charmingly subversive in how it flips the script by making a character who originally had no agency the main character. as well as making Peter Parker the background for Gwen Stacy's story. It's actually kind of beautiful in how well the premise is executed. Like this is a fully realized alternate universe and not just a gimmick. It's also a throwback to the best iteration of Spider-Man which is the original Steve Ditko/Stan Lee run in terms of how the characters behave, and a bit of the art style as well. Overall, it's one of the weirder alternate universes that Marvel has, and I just wanted everyone to know how much I love it!
