You'd have to go back to the 1800s to find a bachelor president. Event then, I can only think of two. One of which only started his presidency as a bachelor and married during his first term in office.

That's actually the story I want to see. Batman unmasking, revealing to the world he's Bruce Wayne, and then running for president. Sure, some people will try to play the vigilante shouldn't be president card, but he's a member of the Justice League and has helped save the world a few times, that kind of PR will be hard to beat.
