Green Lantern Corps Appreciation

I wonder if a green lantern series would work without the human lanterns being a main character. That would allow DC to expand on their Sci Fi areas.

Especially if the human six dpnt pull double duty when they split. Jess is in odyssey simon is said to join outsiders. Hal stars in Morrisons GL book and john probably will still lead GLC and be a jL member.
