This weeks top ten films will see the Arrival (ok cheap joke) of 3 new films this week. Will Doctor Strange repeat at #1 ? Will we see the what films remained strong ? Also what filmed actually gained more during the week than a lot of films you'd never expect ? Read on...

.) Doctor Strange - $43+ million (Beuna Vista) - This film from Marvel Pictures did a nice drop of 49% for its 2nd week and has crossed the $153+ million domestic mark. As a whole Strange has earned nearly $500 million (its at $492+ million worldwide) and will be pushing beyond that soon. This is a great 2nd week drop. It won't do Suicide Squad domestic numbers here , but should be up there.

.) Trolls - $35+ million (Fox) - Trolls also had a good 2nd week drop and only fell 24.8% for its 2nd week. The animated film based on the 1990's Troll dolls continues its run and has done $94+ million domestically thus far. Its a good bet it will break its $125 million production budget here.

.) Arrival - $24+ million (Paramount) - This film starring Amy Adams , Jeremy Renner and Forest Whittaker landed in the 3rd spot. Which isn't great or terrible. The sci-fi film has a low budget of $47+ million and will likely earn it back.

.) Almost Christmas - $15.5+ million (Universal) - The holiday film from Danny Glover , Omar Epps , and Gabrielle Union had a low budget as well at $17 million. It will earn a nice holiday profit for Universal the next couple weeks.

.) Hacksaw Ridge - $10.7+ million (LGF) - This $40 million dollar film from director Mel Gibson had to stun folks who saw the 1st weekend and felt it would fall quickly. Instead Hacksaw Ridge has now passed the $32+ million domestic take and earned $17+ million over the next week. Which shows people wanted to see this true life army film.

.) The Accountant - $4.5+ million (Warner Brothers) - Ben Affleck's film about an Assassin is slowly winding down after a few weeks in theaters. The film has earned $77+ million domestically and has done $50+ million domestically.

.) Shut In - $3.7+ million (EuropaCorp) - EuropaCorp is a company that is more famous for the Transporter films here in America. This film by them starred Naomi Watts and Oliver Platt. It has a $10 million dollar budget and will likely as their films usually do , do better outside the domestic market.

.) Boo! A Madea Halloween - $3.5+ million (LGF) - The Madea film series continues its slow run as this holiday film will end its run soon. Thus far the film has done $70+ million domestically.

.) Jack Reacher: Never Go Back - $3.3+ million (Paramount) - Cruise's 2nd film as Jack Reacher is likely to drop outta the top 10 after this week. The film has done $54+ million domestically thus far on a $60 million budget. Reacher has done $73+ million internationally thus far as well.

.) Inferno - $3.2+ million (Sony) - This film from Tom Hanks and 3rd one will be outta the top ten next week. The film based on the series of books will end its run around the $35-40 million range domestically. Internationally however the film is a hit as its earned $171+ million thus far.
