I forgot to ask this but how do people feel about another speedster being added to the DC Universe. I think you can say that DC's speedster were/are (depending on how you look at it) a family thing or seemed to be a family thing but Rebirth kind of introduced more speedsters b/c of an accident, and then some are gone now (I believe) but we still have a lot more speedster villains than before.

In Sideways there is a supporting character named Killspeed, I want to how people feel with another speedster being created or are they okay with it especially b/c she's just a supporting character.
My priority is black female characters; everything else is secondary.

Marvel: Miles Morales, Riri Williams, Ororo Munroe, Thor, Quentin Quire.
DC Comics: Vixen, Batman, Bat Family, John Stewart, Roy Harper, Tempest, Poison Ivy, Raven.
Comics: Y: The Last Man, Justice League America (2009), Ultimate Comics: All New Spider-Man (2011)
Ships: Thororo/ThunderStorm, Vixen/hasn't been created, Jason Todd/Kathy Duquesne.

The first 12 or so issues of The Ultimates with Rocafort on the art was amazing. So I'll give his book a shot.
    Probably The Terrifics too.

It's a bit played out with the flash family but it depends on what she does differently than the others. Not just as a speedster but as a person.

Did anybody read Damage, what did you think of the first issue?

flipped thru it at my LCS. Art looked good. Didn't pick up as this was a heavier week for me for books.

Bleeding cool gave The Terrifics a good review. Not the same for Sideways, which didn't get a good review. They called Sideways a book for teens.

I like books, comics, and tv series geared toward teens b/c of the coming of age feel, that just solidified my purchase.

Even if this washes out, you have to give them credit for trying it.

I can't wait for Silencer... I don't know why, but the preview really made it click with me.

That just sounds super trite, that Sideways review. Not a reason to give a poor review to a comic, especially not about one with a teenager as the protagonist.

I read it. It was short. Read it in a minute or so

A new Hulk it is, but with a twist. I like the idea it represents, but i am not yet sold. The apperance of Task Force X in the first issue and the apperance of Wonder Woman in the third shows that DC thinks the book needs a push, because without it, it wouldnt sell. Though i would like to have these characters seperated from the rest of the DC universe it makes sense, because i dont see spectaculare numbers on the new Dark Matters line (or whatever it is called now, i forgot)

I am looking forward to all these new books.

It's been mentioned before, but a character with a premise like Damage's rather naturally leads into being in conflict with the heavy hitters and big-shot callers of the world.

Yep, what i was trying to say was, that i thought these line of new books would stand for themselves. Like an ultimate universe for DC. So after i heard it is incoorporated into the main DC universe i wished it would at least stay away from the other characters for awhile.

Naturally it makes sense that Task Force X and others are interrogating.
