Since I'm asked about this one about once a week: Keeping it simple. Word on X-Men: Dark Phoenix is very good.

Very different than what people may expect.

Don't know who Shawn Madden is, but I'll take any word I can get on this movie at this point, especially it it's positive.

As I've said numerous times in this thread, I'm so excited to hear/see more about this one. I can't explain why, but I think this one's going to be special.

I, for one, Loved Apocalypse. It wasn't better than DoFP or X2, but it's my 3rd favorite film in the franchise, though I recognize that that isn't the majority opinion.

That also encourages me about what he said concerning Dark Phoenix.

I would be 100% hyped with this movie if it didnt have Magneto and Mystique, and instead had Angel and Psylocke on the actual X-Men team. And Jubilee

But Kiberg doesnt give a damm about them, so this is what we get. a half X-Men team

He also wrote the critically acclaimed DoFP? The lone misstep in the X-Men films since 2009 has been Apocalypse, and even that wasn't an outright stinker. There are some fandoms who wish their interconnected universe had been so lucky.
