Don't know that confirms that she's in Dark Phoenix, though it does intimate multiple films. I hope she comes back, as she was one of my faves from Apocalypse.

Tangentially, what's with the whispering? I feel like I was watching some sorta weird Shia LeBouf social experiment. And that had to be the flimsiest backer board I've ever seen packed with a comic book: it seemed about as sturdy as loose-leaf.

I hope she comes back too and gets more to do. All this hinting around but no actual confirmation gives me mixed feelings.

In the comic version it wasn’t a rescue mission though. Nor was there a Phoenix Force.
