Uh...Ororo would have been 10 years younger when Mystique stopped Magneto. That plus Cairo being in a different time zone, I doubt she watched it live.

Yes, I know she would have been 10 years younger, she maybe would have been about 6 or 7 at the time, and live or not it would have made worldwide news. She most definitely would have seen it, the same way Jean did.

Mystique was most likely the first mutant she ever saw. She probably witnessed Mystique, live on TV, stop Magneto (who at this point was a national criminal) from killing innocent people and the President. So why would Ororo consider her anything other than a hero?

Putting a gun on some very important people for 15 seconds and then deciding not to pull the trigger does not make anyone a hero. It's stupid logic even for Singerverse. She also killed a guy in previous movie. Attempted to kill Trask in room full of people. And don't tell me no one knows about that. Charles does. Hank does. Why are they not saying anything? Mystique being the greatest mutant ever in any universe is just wrong. I shouldn't even be having this conversation.

just seeing any discussiong about Mystique I find it disgusting.

why is so hard for x-men fans to have a franchise where the talk is all about Jean, Storm, Psylocke, Rogue and Jubilee? is that too much to ask for, Fox? arent they that good for the world to see it?

The first broadcast of mutants worldwide was Mystique running away from Magneto and Beast saving her with his actions. That was recorded on camera. No one gives one flying **** about Beast. Because Katniss.

Anyway, I hope by the time the movie starts, Cyclops is already an experienced leader. I also hope that they all get some good fights in that people would actually like to watch.

Xavier even tells her in DOFP that all anyone watching on TV has seen her do is SAVE the president by shooting a known Mutant terrorist, who was locked up for supposedly assassinating another president.

She didn't kill anyone in DoFP. If you're talking about the NVA officer she replaced, there was a cut-away shot after he fell unconscious that revealed he was till breathing.

Unfortunately I just don't think the current new cast has enough box office draw. Their performance was okay in a horrible movie but didn't hear enough buzz about any of the performances. Curious to see who they will add if McAvoy, Fassbender, and Lawrence don't return, not that I want them to but at least they had some clout.

It's too bad Fox has chosen the DPS. Too soon, not the right cast, and it's storyline that Fox should get at least two movies out of. It should be epic.

How can you do the dark phoenix saga without the phoenix saga. This is already a failure. Why is fox so afraid to be closer to the comics?

I have no problem with McAvoy returning, and I think that he needs to tbh, but I can do without both Fassbender and Lawrence for a couple of films.
