    Default Batman/Joker comics

    What if DC comics made an ongoing team up comic with Batman and Joker, can a comic series like this work?, What would the fanbase think of this as a spin-off.

    It would be hero/villain working together type of story.

    We've already been over-exposed enough to Joker thanks to the New52 Snyder run of Batman, plus we've got that "three Jokers" thing for Rebirth.

    And I don't think they can get away with trying a "team-up" again these days.

    But how would a modern version of this comic hurt DC comics?. I'm sure it can be done though.

    Wasn't that pretty much the premise of Europa?
    It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

    Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

    It wouldn't "hurt DC", but Joker is way more of a psychopath killer these days. I think a Superman/Charles Manson team-up comic book would have a better chance to succeed.

    A few other reasons why a Batman/Joker team-up book on a regular basis wouldn't make any sense:
    * Barbara Gordon
    * Jason Todd
    And, prior to Flashpoint, Sarah Essen Gordon would have been another reason, but I'm not aware of her marriage to Gordon and other events having been reintroduced in the New52/Rebirth continuity/continuities.
