Monica Rambeau followed closely by Monet.
The Avengers are Firefighters. We're the ones who fly into the blaze, whatever it is. Because we're the ones who
can, so we're the ones who have to.~Captain Marvel

Deadly Nightshade. Beauty and brains.
Monica for me. I'm surprised to see a lot of people voting for Monet no doubt she is beautiful but I had no idea she was meant to be a black woman. Is she actually supposed to be? Most time I see her in books she looks white or tanned at most.
I really wish more would be done with her. Moon Girl may be the newest black girl genius on the roster, but Tilda is the original, and is totally refreshing. I could care about who the smartest *man* in the world is, Reed or Tony or Doom, when there are so few *women* geniuses out there, like Tilda. (It's not enough, IMO, to create a bunch of new kids in those roles, like Moon Girl or Nadia Pym, so much as to develop those that already exist.)
Pull List:
Marvel Comics: Venom, X-Men, Black Panther, Captain America, Eternals, Warhammer 40000.
DC Comics: The Last God

Monet has been whitewashed over the years. When she first appeared in 1994, she looked like this.
And she varied between light caramel & brown.
In Generation X, they made her chocolate in many instances.
Here's her GenX designs.
She was black, outside of some color flubs & rushed panels. Then she was white in a crossover, and Peter David just made her white period in X-Factor until enough people complained, then she was darkened a bit but still flip-flopped between brown, tan, & white.
Thankfully whenever Bunn had her in a book, she was back to being black like she should be.
She had a nice design in Strain's GenX too.
