recruiting the new generation of Hellions.

IF Emma was starting another Hellions (which I never did read about anywhere!), at least Empath, the only living member, should be part of it.

Now the question is, will they be good or bad guys.

contemporary reality. Character building involves making these difficult choices and dealing with the repercussions, it
gets boring seeing characters as one dimensional, inherently good or inherently evil. It is the journey that matters.

Of the originals, I was most fond of Catseye and Empath, followed by Tarot and Roulette. (Later additions like 'Beef' or 'Bevatron' can stay dead. I don't miss them.)

A mix of old and new seems ideal.

From Generation X, I'd love to see Monet or Synch back. From the New X-Men, Hellion, Dust, Indra, Loa and / or Bling! Random other kids like Negasonic, or one of the Bedlams, sure!

Some of my favorites, on the other hand, like Dust and Indra, might not be good fits for a team of Emma's...

I think those 2 would be a good start for a base. Jesse Bedlam as a possible ally. The several Hellion team incarnations that may have a common interest.

6. Bevatron (can possess & disrupt electronics along with his volt-casting ability)

I always wondered why Cannonball never figured out how to open his secondary field at his hands or face, instead of at his waist, to blast people with his rocket exhaust offensively. (Or completely close the secondary field, letting the explosive force build up and build up before busting out of the secondary field entirely and exploding in all directions like a small nuke...)

But yeah, Jetstream being able to do that would make sense, since he's already using machines to help channel his blasts. A simple upgrade should allow him to use these blasts offensively, or even to propel items (sort of how Boom-Boom used to, back when she called herself Meltdown and had an adamantium tube to channel her bombs).
