    Default Most dysfunctional tv family?

It can come from a drama, comedy, variety, reality, cartoon, or any other kind oftv show. Who were the most dysfunctional tv family?

My choice: The Family skits from The Carol Burnett Show (Eunice & Ed Higgins, and Thelma 'Mama' Harper)

The tv show Mommas Family redeemed them to me. They did really care for each other.

To me the answer has to be Family Guy. Or The Lannister family on game of Thrones.

That's a good choice. But- pardon the pun- I think it's all relative.

My choice is "Everybody Loves Raymond", a show of which I have seen only a few episodes because it's too close to reality for me. I know what it feels like to have a family member who tried to manipulate people to conform to their beliefs and convictions. That's a part of why I live 500 miles away.

    Nope...

There is a whole couple of levels of dysfunction up above where that show sits.

As bad as the Bundy's could be, there were still quite a few signs that they actually did care for each other and had each other's back.

Definitely, these would be My Top (3) Three choices:

    • Saotome Family

    • Kaiba Family

    • Ikari Family (especially, after the death of Yui)

    The Griffins.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Every main character from The Big Bang Theory (Leonard, Sheldon, Penny, Howard, and Raj) all had dysfunctional families.

I thought Penny's dad was pretty cool.

Amys parents were Dysfunctional as all get out. But only saw them a couple of times. But even in that two times got a feel for just how they were. And Amys hints through out the show of all the words of wisdom her mom had or the things Amy said her mom would not let her do.

Her dad was great. I love the one where Penny and Leonard were broken up but her dad was visiting so she pretended to still be dating him.

Howards mom even though we only heard her voice was light weight one of the best and funniest characters on the show. Just the few lines they had her deliver always had me rolling.
