That Agent Venom/Mania backup is such a tease. Not only do we get to see the original design rather than the space knight one but we finally get him and Andi working together just in time for Flash to lose the symbiote. Why can't we have nice things?

I am happy of the Eddie Venom return, I just wish we had a better artist. The Bagley alternate cover is the ultimate tease, I would love for Bagley or Angel Medina was drawing this Venom book next to McFarlane they are my favorite artists to draw Venom.

What happened to Toxin?

A girl named Jubilee whom had a link to Carnage through him trying to use the Darkhold on her absorbed Toxin and became a pink butterfly thing that kind of reminded me of the Wasp's mutation back in the 90's. She then took another symbiote created through Carnage and began talking like for lack of a better word "deity entity" as I guess the idea was her being the good to Cthon's evil, whom then became a knight thing with wings and destroyed Cthon (I think). The pink thing dissapated and we get no resolution as to what did that besides magic, a wizard did it, and we don't know what happened to the symbiotes other than dissipation with the pink thing.

It's quick, weird, and I doubt that's going to be the end for Toxin as not only is that a waste, but what the hell happened is still a little vague.

Jubulile van Scotter, to be precise, though Carnage nicknamed her Jujubee, and yes, that would be a waste, as there is so much potential in what is essentially an angelic/divine/holy symbiote empowering its host to fight for good as opposed to driving the host to evil.

I never had strong feelings one way or another about Flash Venom being ditched, but this kinda made me miss him.

And i am a fan of the Legacy renumbering.
Cool to see that the first comic book returning to the original numbering will be one of the Spider-Man related comic books.

So I read Venom #150, I'll wait until someone puts up a full spoiler recap post, but some quick thoughts:

Am I the only one kind of surprised that after all the sympathy that's been put on the symbiote for a while, suddenly he's back to manipulating and Brock's the abused one now? I do like they're treating this as unhealthy and not the "Reunited and feels so good", but I do hope they're leading to something with all this. Mainly cause of that Flash story. I kind of expected something anti-climatic, not only just the "Loud noise scare Venom and he runs away", but that Flash just gives up trying to find him after looking for a bit. And what's gonna happen with Mania? Really hope they're planning something for this.
