I like that Tyke is trying to win her back. Not that Jeen now is pushing him. I kind of like the new way they are slowly growing together.

Yes it's ok. It still feels a little artificial. It's not the same as the real deal. That was slow but once it took off it was great. At this point I'll take what I can get.

I love this scene and this comic. X-men Season One still ranks as one of my favorite X-men comics of the past decade. It does more than just tell the story of the X-men in an updated fashion. It gives a strong, balanced take for every character, especially Jean. And the way she comes together with Cyclops is just too sweet. In this, it's not love at first sight or anything like that. Instead, they fall in love as they live their respective lives within the X-men. Just growing together guides them towards one another. That, in my opinion, makes their love feel more genuine and sincere. And this particular scene really hammered it home.

This is just too much for me. It's really sweet and makes it kinda painful we'll never see their adult versions together again. Oh well, there's always the good memories to revisit whenever I can.
