I do remember Helen Hunt and the woman who played her best friend on Mad About You showing up on Friends at the coffee house. They were totally confused because Phoebe had no idea who they were since they though she was Ursalu.

BULFINCH'S MYTHOLOGY by Thomas Bulfinch. He gathered all these different stories (Greek, Roman, Norse, Arthurian, Christian) and pulled them together as if they belonged to one great world of myth and legend.

There's actually a "crossover" in Dark Horses's Star Wars tales, an anthology series. Basically Han and Chewie are in some kind of space battle, Han is critically wounded after a sort of blind hyperspace jump, and dies. Over a century later Indiana Jones and Short Round find what's left of the Falcon with Han's skeleton, and there's rumors of a Sasquatch around the area.

Yeah that^ was kind of a bummer take, that's what they chose to write? Instead of an actual fun universe-crossover team-up.
And they also left out the whole reason for it, the actual in-movie reference, which sets up and makes the whole thing canon, how - R2 and 3P0 somehow get themselves inscribed on a column in the Well of Souls.

That's what i would want to see.

They could have accidentally been hyper-jumped knocked into this Universe, landing in ancient Egypt, where they have some adventure, that gets them permanently etched in stone, for Jones and Sallah to come across centuries later.
The follow up, Solo and Chewie could have been in pursuit of something the Droids left behind, and they need Jones' help to track their footsteps.
Sasquatch angle is fun, as Chewie could well have been mistaken for Sasquatch, and started the "legend".
In the end of course only Jones would know the "truth" of it all.

In the 80s, Transformers, G.I. Joe, Inhumanoids, and Jem and the Holograms all took place on the same world. The key link was the Not Geraldo reporter appearing in each series with the same name and voice. But Joe and Transformers also had a crossover ep.
Apparently one episode of G.I. Joe has the Joes watchign a monitor and Spider-man appears on it. Sunbow at the time was doing both Spider-man and G.I. Joe. if you want to count this, that would have made it either the 1981 Spider-man cartoon or Spider-man and his Amazing Friends.

not much of a stretch since angel is a spinoff of buffy like the way laverne and shirley, mork and mindy and joanie and chachi were spinoffs of happy days. i would say buffy and the tv movie 'the dark prince' since that movie is about how vlad the impaler became dracula and he's played by the same actor with the goofy accent who appeared in buffy later.

Pirates of the Caribbean tried grandfather the original Treasure Island novel into its world (although they got the facts wrong, so it's pretty questionable if it's "true" or not).
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."
X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."

The club at the beginning of Temple Of Doom is also called the club Obi-Wan, and the plane at the beginning of Raiders is the OB-CPO.

It's also happened the other way around; although 90% in Clone Wars and Rebels because Dave Filoni's a huge Indiana Jones fan (Maybe if they ever animated Indy he would be a good choice for producer).

Apparently a further connective thread through several Marvel/Sunbow universe shows is a recurring character reporter- Hector Ramirez, who is that universe's pastiche of Geraldo Rivera.
Hector Ramirez (same name although his mustache is constantly growing) crosses-over through several of their shows, spuriously connecting them all.
    - Appears on Jem interviewing her (or an impostor of her)
-G.I.Joe where he manages an interview with Cobra Commander. LOL!
    -Transformers on TV
-And finally becomes a recurring reporter on Inhumanoids!

I already mentioned this in another thread, but small indie character drama flick Better Luck Tomorrow was absorbed by the Fast & the Furious franchise, since Sung Kang coincidentally played a character named Han in both. Better Luck Tomorrow has since been considered by the franchise to be Han's origin story, even though it's not an official installment of the Fast & the Furious. It helps that Justin Lin directed the film but also was a major force in advancing the franchise, and other F&F directors have since made extensive use of Han, even occasionally throwing in references to the indie film.

Any other Shared universes that I haven't listed.

Yeah not sure why dismissing it as after the fact. Granted they started in their own fiction and film, but Universal did start crossing them over, so why doesn't it count?
As apposed to just appearing in the same material from the go, the whole idea of emphasizing a "shared" universes, is acknowledging they are from different pages, otherwise what is shared?
