X-Men Blue to go monthly in October?

I wouldn't be surprised if it went monthly. Keeping any title bi-weekly is a challenge. Unless the series has an army of A-list artists, it's just not always feasible. Plus, sometimes the quality suffers with bi-weekly books because stories get rushed. That rarely works out in the long run. I'm willing to wait for quality comics to an extent. If X-men Blue comes out just once a month, but is always worth the wait, then I'm okay with that.

It's difficult, but possible, DC is doing it right now with a ton of books, and the ones I'm reading are great so far, just read Superman 22, and man, it's great, this is probably one of the best moments to be a Superman fan, next week Action Comics comes out, and I'm totally confident that it will be good. Green Arrow, Nighwing, Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lanterns, are all bi-weekly comics, that are going for more than 20 issue and keeping the quality.
So Marvel can probably do it too. I think that they will be launching too new books in Legacy, adn their price is higher than DC's, so they will be passing some tittles to montly bases.

X-Men Vol 2 (1-113) + New X-Men Vol 1 (114-154) + X-Men Vol 2 resumed (155-207) + X-Men Legacy Vol 1 (208-275) + X-Men Legacy Vol 2 (1-24; 300) = 300. Next issue would be 301.
X-Men Vol 3 (1-41) + X-Men Vol 4 (1-26) = 67. Next issue would be 68. I don't think this one matters as much.

I thought about adding it, and I don't think it's as notable.

Astonishing X-Men Vol 1 (1-4) + Astonishing X-Men Vol 2 (1-3) + Astonishing X-Men Vol 3 (1-68) = only 75. Add in a handful of issues of the relaunched series, and maybe relaunch at 80? Not as memorable a number. Much like the adjectiveless X-Men series that followed X-Men Legacy. It's only at 67. I don't see the need for a big "Legacy" relaunch for it.

Blue's total should be even higher, as it should also include both volumes of All-New X-Men. 619 + Gold's running total would be correct for Gold though.

I don't think Gold will be retitled Uncanny due to the fact it could be confusing to new readers. I think that Uncanny X-Men will begin again as it's own book with either Gold being cancelled or continuing unaffected.
