I'm rooting for Squirrel Girl.
Some other Bat related nominations.
“Good Boy,” by Tom King and David Finch, in Batman Annual #1 for Best Short Story.
Dark Night: A True Batman Story, by Paul Dini and Eduardo Risso for Best Reality-Based Work.
Congrats to Hope Larson and Rafael Albuquerque for the nomination. Batgirl is a comic for teens and kids, and is really good as that, Hope gives a good voice to Barbara and talks about media and education. Rafael artīs great. And I have to say about Chris Wildgoosewith, he was not nominated, but his job with this book is amazing.
I may not completely enjoy the current direction of the Batgirl book or it's depiction of Babs, but congratulations on the nomination all the same .
Good in you Babsgirl and the creative team. Hope it wins.
The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl took home the award.
Still, getting nominated for an Eisner is an accomplishment itself.
“Good Boy” by Tom King and David Finch won Best Short Story.
That's an Eisner for the Bat books.
I would never have guessed Monstress is targeted at 13 to 17 year-olds... the more you know.
Good for the creative team, I think they are slowly transforming Babs back into a character I can enjoy.
Congrats to all the Bat books and Batgirl for the nominations!
