This AWESOME. I have heard the name before but never knew there was a decades old cliffhanger with him.

The Super Heroes of Europe. Most didn't even get names, two who did only got names in a guide book (Weiss Kreuz of Switzerland and Tricolore of France), several (Claymore of Scotland, Red Dragon I of Wales and IIRC Magma from Sweden) all died in their debut issue at the hands of Sentry/The Void. The rest have faded into obscurity since their second appearance.

Also Le Peregrine of France, Hauptman Deutschland (cameoed in Mighty Avengers by Al Ewing a couple years back), Iron Cross (not seen AFAIK since the All-New Invaders series ended) and Radiance (likewise)

Black Axe from Marvel UK. Didn't even get a cameo in CB&MI13 like Digitek, Death's Head II, Tangerine and Dark Angel, think he managed a single-panel cameo in Revolutionary War Alpha.
Black Axe had a cameo in a few issues of X-Men in 2012. Issues 25 & 26 if you're interested.

    Gabriel Shepherd, the powerful proto-mutant

Elric of Melnibone. Marvel had permission to use him for a story arc or two back in the 70s.

I had to look up who that was, I'd forgotten about him. He was pretty interesting. But he also reminded me of another obscure mutant, introduced before X-Men #1, Tad Carter

Circuit breaker! Why has marvel not had her fight iron man yet? She is a anti-hero who hates machines and can break them with one touch!

Comet man. Why has he not been in gotg yet?

Lyja. Use her in something marvel!

-Pav, who'd like another series soon please...
You were Spider-Man then. You and Peter had agreed on it. But he came back right when you started feeling comfortable.
You know what it means when he comes back

looked it up. Wow. I'll have to pick up the trade. Planet terry retuned in drex also so it's nice to see more 80s and 90s heroes come back. How long before brute force shows up or mort the dead teen?

Lyra I can give or take, but both of these choices are excellent.

Brute Force showed up in a Deadpool comic a few years back!

I've been waiting on Mort, too! He needs to be an associate of Dr. Strange or something.

-Pav, who hasn't read the Drax series yet...

Ooh, tons of fun characters already listed!

Texas Twister was the first one I thought of, but he's already been mentioned, along with Tangerine and Windshear and Living Lightning and Comet Man and Yellowjacket 2/Rita DeMara.

    Others that are possibly dead / universe destroyed / forgotten, that I'd love to see again;

The mutant XSE telepath Fixx (who, along with Archer and Greystone, comes from the same alternate future that brought us Bishop).

Initiative kids Gorilla Girl, Red Nine, Spinner and Telemetry.

Avengers Academy kids Reptil, Stryker and Finesse.

Old, old, Contest of Champions-fodder / random ethnic heroes, Defensor and El Aquila.

X-Men 2099 La Lunatica, Bloodhawk, Meanstreak and Krystalin.

    Morlock 'Tunneler' Scaleface.

Mikel Fury's team of 'Caterpillars,' appeared and died pretty much in the same 10 pages. (Carlos Ayala, Red Webo, Malcolm and Jenny Munroe, Sandra Murphy, uh, some other people whose names I forget...). Great potential, utterly wasted, in favor of Alexander Pierces vastly less-interesting (IMO) team of violent 'extreme' 90's-style nobodies.
