Yeah, I know I'm in the minority when it comes to my love for that era. I've long since accepted that I'm probably insane for considering the 2003-2011 run my favorite era of the Teen Titans XD

Nah, Johns' Teen Titans is most peoples' favorite Teen Titans comic run.

Uh, no. Not even close. It is true that Blue22 isn't in the minority for liking that run, but it doesn't even come CLOSE to the popularity of the New Teen Titans (Which I also don't care for, but don't hate like the 2003 book)

Is it really? I've seen more people either hate it or think it was okay.

There seems to be a number of people on here who don't like Johns's run and are very vocal about it, which can make it seem like it is less celebrated than I think it is. Of course, my understanding is that the post-Johns stuff is generally more disliked.

Teen Titans v3 was my first trade, so I think that I love it despite the questionable characterizations. But it was indeed better than after IC.

So the entire Waid run, Dead Heat and the Secret Origins? Not bad at all.

Definitely one of the best. I actually don't have the Dead Heat trade so this would be a nice way of having it collected.

I don't hate the Johns TT run itself I just hate what it did to some great characters. The plots and writing were just ok IMO but what Johns did to Bart and Conner is so unfortunate.

Bart as impulse had such a fun and unique personality and Johns decided to take that away and make him boring. As well as take away his own superhero persona, Impulse, and give him someone elses identity, Kid Flash.

Pretty much the same with Conner. Turned him from a fun character to boring. Tim as well but to a lesser degree. Just made him more Batman like.

I'm not trying to take away anyone's love for this run and I understand the sentimental value it holds as your first comics but I would recommend anyone check out Peter Davids Young Justice series to see these characters true and original personalities.

I hope that when they bring back Bart and Conner in rebirth, (eventually), they bring back the pre Geoff Johns TT versions.

At least Kon got better after he died.

Maybe we should kill their Post n52 personalities and they'd come back closer to their OG personalities
