Marvel doesn't do "love interest" anymore. They aren't mutually inclusive and they are obviously afraid of offending that non-existent readership, or the ones that only buy certain oddball titles that in any other universe ruled by Marvel would be canceled quickly and quietly...

Realistically speaking about fictional matters. | Nutcases need not respond. | Stay outta my DMs. | Why does the "House of Ideas" keep duplicating characters?! | If an idea or belief cannot stand up to criticism it's probably... bad.

Honestly Marvel can suck it if they think I wouldn't create a new character just to be Nate's love interest.

    X-Men: eXemplary students

Featuring appearances by the student body and eight new students.
    • Animal - A Mediterranean teen named Sander, he's brutish and fast, with a short temper and claws. For some reason like to take other's things but doesn't care about them once he's got them.
    • Armament - Teri, a Blonde Irish teenager who seems to be getting into scuffs with the other students, much to Elysium's displeasure. The Staff keep confiscating various weapons from her person, where she gets them from is unknown.
    • Artisan - Tom, a creative Thai boy who seems to be able to create and build anything he can think of if he puts his mind to it, which is quite a task. He'd rather be doodling and vandalizing the mansion with graffiti!
    • Atrophy - Sho, a reclusive Japanese teen, he wears a mask and heavy leathers at all times and emits a particularly foul odor. Has a tendency of breaking things, with several chairs collapsing under his thin frame. He'd rather just sketch and avoids physical contact with anyone.
    • Brunt - Marc, the largest of the eight and strangely the most familiar. He's a bit of a klutz and bumps into things, which has caused disarray when combined with his muscular frame and super strength!
    • Elysium - A quiet African girl named Alison who has some form of Telepathic ability, however to the other telepaths, her thoughts are a din. She is surprisingly appears to be the leader of the eight despite being the youngest of them, keeping the other in line and ensuring they do not stray far from her.
    • Kindle - Ann, a teen from the southern USA. She's a bit of a hothead as most flying pyrokinetics are and struggles to control the blazes she creates though she'd much prefer to work on her flight powers instead.
    • Turbulence - Hailing from France, Gisette is passionate about the environment and preserving animals and their natural habitat. Occasionally having outbursts against the students who she see's as contributing to environmental decline, she's adamant about stopping climate change - even if she has to use her wind based powers to do it herself!

    Solicitation 1
Eight new teenagers arrive at the Institute, but the something seems off about them... The existing students can't help but put their finger on it, but something about them seem vaguely familiar.
They keep causing trouble around the mansion and the teachers - THE X-MEN won't even talk about it? It's going to be up the the NEW X-MEN and friends to crack the case!

    Solicitation 2
As the students continue to attend classes and training sessions one thing becomes certain - they are NOT fitting in with everyone else.
Despite the newcomers causing trouble at every turn, and constantly causing issues with each other and the students, they receive nothing but praise for their successes and pardons for their transgressions.
With rumors and theories flying as to why the teachers are giving the students so much lee way, a group of the student body ebbs closer to the truth!

    Solicitation 3
Gangs! Factions! Cliques! When did the Xavier Institute return to a battleground of cutthroat rivalry?
With the X-Men's intervention - the eight new students have been split up and finally integrated into the student body - but has it caused more problems than it has solved?
Old rivalries, tensions and feuds reemerge between the students as they divide themselves into eight groups around each of the new students.
Will the students manage to figure out what's going on before the school erupts into chaos?

    Solicitation 4
Hellions vs New Mutants? Lupines vs Elementals? Mind vs Muscle? When will the Bedlam stop?
With the X-men distant and ignoring the chaos surrounding them, the student body is now firmly divided into eight factions, each warring the others for dominance of the Institute.
It's up to the few remaining unaffected students to act before the mansion is destroyed again, could one of the eight hold all the answers?

    Solicitation 5
The race is onto save the Institute from complete destruction!
With the true identities of the new exemplary students finally revealed, the gang must find a way to get to Alison before it's too late!
But with a full scale war between their friends, teachers and rivals erupting around them, they're going to have to play the factions against each other to survive!

    Explanation:
So as some of you probably figured out, the eight new students are the Exemplars - Juggernaut included, with their memories and personalities being controlled by Bedlam.
In order to control them and keep them from destroying the world, Bedlam traps their true selves inside her own head, giving them each new memories and a persona.
Controlling Stonecutter into developing a machine that would de-age them, she enrolls them all at the Xavier Institute to keep them out of trouble, using her cosmic level psionic abilities to cause the X-men to look the other way.
As time goes on, she becomes overwhelmed and cannot hold back the influence of the Octessence, causing the school to divide into factions and the wager beginning anew.

Haven't really decided on the main roster of X-Kids to sleuth the issue but I'm sure you can all imagine your favorite team piecing the puzzle together.

This was pretty good, could see this as a 6 - 12 issue mini series.

    I would relaunch All New X-Factor 2.0

    *Polaris
    *Gambit
    *Quicksilver
    *Dazzler
    *M
    *Chamber

Keep the yellow outfits but customized to each member's preferences and they will be independent, not working for any corporation. Maybe based at Muir Island and has contact with the Gold team on occasion.

    District X
This version, Bishop takes residence in the same area where he grew up in his future, only there aren't any Mutant Camps, yet. Story will set up with an evil mutant, using science to force evolution/mutations on people without an X-gene. This causes hate, distrust, yadda, yadda.

Also can use this as a great setting up point of having Bishop tracking his parents down. Maybe getting them safe and secured so that at least his younger self and sister can have a family when and if, his future should ever come to pass. Be a great way to also fix that cluster of Messiah Complex did to his characterization; maybe have a side-story where due to all the time traveling he did, the crazed Bishop was from one of the Secret-War misworlds that was closely aligned and the two got mixed up until after Secret War fixed stuff.

Give the man a romantic-partner! I've always been fond of Bishop and Rogue pairing.

Since the whole concept of Hope has run dry of her wing mutant kinds last hope, turn her into what she is suppose to be slowly; the mutant anti-Christ. Her experiences with Cable and the alt-Bishop set her up and Cable's teachings got her ready for this role.

Tabby is not old enough to be a mom, so she decides to find Rusty so he can take his kids, but when she asks Skids where he is, Skids reminds her Rusty is dead. Inspired by nothing but altruism (of course), Tabby decides to reunite herself, Skids, Rictor, Wiz-Kid and her new wards for a life and death adventure to bring Rusty back from the dead...but is he actually dead after all?
    Cancelled after 5 issues. Lol

Ultimate X-Force: Deadpool, finally able to convince a small team they really are in a comic book, takes over the Marvel offices. Wade becomes EIC, fires almost everybody, and creates an alternate reality where Marvel Comics are good again.

All New X-Force, James Tynion IV on words, Mahmud Asrar on art

After the collapse of AIM, Sunspot returns to the X-Men to discover he doesn't really have a place there. He also notices a group of former students who are also being largely ignored and have been generally under-served by the X-Men. He and these former students leave the mansion and form a proactive strike team (NOT a black ops murder squad).

    Cast: Sunspot, leader, mentor
    Surge, field leader
    Hellion
    Anole
    Rockslide
    Dust

PHOENIX FORCE by Cullen Bunn and Kenneth Rocafort
Finally, after years of being fractured into pieces, the Phoenix has returned, and with it, Jean Grey. Seeing the state of the Marvel universe - with errors still here and there from Secret Wars - Jean realizes that there is unfinished business for the phoenix, but also that she would be unable to fix all of the problems on her own. So, she gathers a team of former Phoenix hosts, splitting the Phoenix among them to become the Phoenix Five, a group of individuals that travel the universe - and, potentially later, multiverse - to fix what is broken, starting with the original five X-Men's inability to return to their own time.

    Featuring
    Jean Grey
    Quentin Quire
    Emma Frost
    Namor
    Hope Summers
"We come into this world alone and we leave the same way. The time we spent in between - time spent alive, sharing, learning together... is all that makes life worth living." - Jean Grey

    I would pitch two books.

    Book 1

    Necrosha X by Mike Carey

Characters: Risque, Synch, Tarot, Catseye, Static ( Former Acolyte), Shinobi Shaw, Rusty Collins

Villians: Main Big Bad- Eli Bard, Fabian Cortez, Siena Blaze, Jetstream, Roulette, Wither(who changes allegiances)

Premise: During the close of Necrosha some of the reanimated mutants retained lift, on the hero side Synch uses this abilities to reach out a variety of mutants( Emma Frost-telepathy, Cypher-who broke free with his own powers, elixir-healing, Roulette probability manipulating abilities to reverse the mind control and effects of the transmode virus, other mutants in his field of influence came along for the ride. These mutants were on a mission to stop another group from Necrosha hell bent on resurrecting Selene.

    Book 2

Millennial X by Nunzio DeFilippis and Christina Weir

Cast: Shola, Hub, Preview, Wind Dancer, Hack, Melody Guthrie, Kidogo

Premise: These formerly powered mutants have all ended up going to college in Chicago( Shola decided to finish his education in Chicago and brought Hub and Hack with him-while the former new x men banded together and ended up in Chicago). And while the Terrigen Cloud was poisonous to mutants, to former mutants with some inhuman DNA, it became the catalyst to make them inhuman mutant hybrids. Some regained their former abilities while others gained new and even more powerful abilities. This is coming of age story of struggle, strife, with a twist. Think the best elements of New Warriors and X Force with a Gen X twist.

I've got quite a few pitches so I'm going to post them separately. These are also based of my 7 MAN Dream X-Men Teams

    Book 1:

    'X-Men Gold'

    Featuring:

    • Jean Grey
    • Shadowcat
    • Nightcrawler
    • Frenzy
    • Armour
    • Cannonball
    • Iceman

    Solicitation:

Jean Grey has returned from the dead once again! She has sent the O5 back to where they belong and separated herself from the Phoenix Force. Now, she is ready to restart her life as an X-Man and the Headmistress of the Xavier Institute. With the mutant race returning from the brink of extinction, now, Jean believes, is the appropriate time to become a team that can be trusted by the public. But their first mission reveals a new group of Morlocks, with new dangerous and untrained powers, who are tired of living underground and are hell bent on revenge. Will this team be able to stop this threat before it becomes to dangerous, or will this ruin the X-Men's plan before it's even begun?
I’ve just published my very first work on ‘Archive of Our Own’, under the same name as here. It is the first chapter of ‘I Am My Own Best Friend ~ An Emma Frost Road Trip’, which focuses on Emma between the events of IvX and Secret Empire, including the White Queen going on a road trip, to try and have fun!

You can read the story here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/15795663

I hope you enjoy it as much I did writing it!
