Going into Marvel Legacy, what is now Marvel's flagship title? For a while it was Avengers but it almost seems that the Avengers title has become quite insignificant (IMHO).
Does anyone know?

Right now, it's Amazing Spider-Man when it comes to actual sales. Coming No Surrender, it seems that they are making an interesting pitch to make The Avengers the flagship book again. I'm intrigued to see if they can make it work, but it does seem rushed and like they are just making an event instead of an actual effort to rethink The Avengers, different than what they did with Amazing Spider-Man after Brand New Day. I'm more interested on what The Avengers creators team will be AFTER No Surrender than actually that saga, to be honest. Hopefully by then we will have a more cohesive and exciting Marvel Universe in comics.
Pull list:
Marvel Comics: X-Men, Marauders, Excalibur, New Mutants, X-Force, Fallen Angels and Immortal Hulk
"Humans of the planet Earth. While you slept, the world changed." -Professor X
What they want it to be - Avengers. What the most popular book actually is - ASM.
ASM is the most popular book but it's clearly not the flagship book like the Avengers was in the last 10 years.
We need better comics
Same goes for DC of course. Batman outsells everything else by a mile, but Justice League should be their flagship.
Do they want one? I am not sure DC would choose Batman as a flagship book, that is just the one everyone buys. I am sure they would like it to be Action Comics.
At Marvel that is ASM. I can't see it ever being another book. The Marketing team are very good at convincing the press that it is Avengers, or occasionally Iron Man but what exactly is a flagship book?
Poor Marvel wanted Toni Stark's IM to be the flagship but it failed miserably and there hasn't been a proper flagship book since Hickman left the house of ideas.
Maybe it's Uncanny Avengers
Depends on how you define "flagship." The main Avengers series (New or Adj-less) has been the most important and driving force at Marvel for over a decade. ASM is having better sales though.

The last few months it has been Captain America that has been the Flagship because it was driving the story being told in the MU.
