Not sure that any of them would get anything more than a guest spot given that they'd make the cast pretty big to give each of them very much screentime...

I'd LOVE to see Siryn and Polaris together! I really liked their friendship during X-Factor, and I think TV would be the best place to reintroduce the character. Though I wouldn't do it at first, if the show does well enough to get another season, then maybe they could expand the cast and add Terry.
Cecilia Reyes' force fields are cost effective CGI plus her character arc is perfect for a show about mutants being hunted and their lives destroyed, plus being a woman of colour. And everybody needs a doctor.

Sent a PM to ask the mods if they could merge the 2 threads in the X-Forums, and then rename it FOX "Untitled" X-Men TV Series. If ya don't like it, no biggie, we'll probably want to rename it again once the actual title of it is made known.
I would like to see Genosha on the screen one day though budget wise it would be a tough venture even with new CGI that they might want to wait for future season on or even wait for a film on. It would be just about the perfect venue for a joint MCU/Fox film if talks ever get that far.
What was the original X-Factor tasked with, though?
... The five original members set up a business advertised as mutant-hunters for hire, headquartered in the TriBeCa neighborhood of downtown New York City, posing as "normal" (non-superpowered) humans to their clients. The mutants that X-Factor capture are secretly trained to control their powers and reintegrated into society. Through their "mutant hunting" they recruit a group of young wards...
I didn't take the word "underground" as literally meaning under... ground, but more of as... covert... and subversive.
We will see, if the govenment is actually running Sentinels to wipe out mutants would they really have a mutant team to protect mutants at the same time?
Lorna being part of the resistance I do think is a fine idea, but you can't be part of the resistance and the system you are fighting against at the same time, well unless you are a double agent.

Which is basically what the OXF were, in a sense. And in this case, I was just using Val as an eXample, of how far reaching the network could be & how it would function. If she were involved though, she'd likely be the double agent within the government. Working from inside the system as you say, to help safeguard the Mutants, and help them escape from being persecuted & terrorized.
I'm sure it'll disappoint as per usual.
