I was hoping for Exiles or something with an X in it... but it's about gifted youngsters and that was the name of Whedon's first Astonishing arc. Gifted still sounds a bit boring, though. Ah, well. Tomorrow People was already taken.

I agree that its a bit generic, but I like that its a famliar word from the universe and really represents the x-men world. Its kind of a nod, to the actual school, so I appreciated that. Nice detail

It's a nice detail but Gifted doesn't sound the least bit eXciting.
I'm hoping Gifted is just the name of the first episode script they're reading through... but probably not. Still looking forward to the show, though.

Still wondering how the series will tie into the films. We already know from Singer, etc. that it will.
The premise they've described — the family is on the run, and I thought one of the reports I read said they'll be headed for Canada — REALLY makes me think it could be a bridge between the present day and the events leading up to Logan.
