This is great news I'm very pleased about this. I feel same as many others have said, Deadpool is uniquely popular and kind of a hybrid bridge between Disney and Fox universes almost. Great stuff I'm looking forward to this cartoon. I do hope there are as many mutant/X-Men related cameos as possible of course. Also the concept of a crossover with Archer is positively insane but possible.

I can't speak for the ongoing (didn't read it), but I know he used a good bit of humor and slapstick in his Wolverine: Origins appearance.

It just seemed like the character was dormant in the early 2000s and seemingly exploded after that appearance.
What can I say but, "I love comics."

Oh, man. This is exciting. I hope the show is thick with X-Force and X-men guest stars.

This is a huge win which fills me with hope that an X-Men proper series can't be far behind.

Bleeding Cool did say an X-Men cartoon was on the way. Turns out it's this.

If there is anything I trust Fox with it's Deadpool and animated series.

Lol Don't blame you. The GAME is what exposed me the most to Waypool. I started reading Duggan's version and then went to read Kelly's classic. I avoided Daniel Way when I read the complaints and descriptions. Then I saw the game on youtube....and if Waypool is always that much of a joke, and idiot, then bleh.

Waypool almost seems like a MAd Tv Parody of the character.

Yup agreed. I bought the game knowing full well who it was written by. But it was a Deadpool product and I figured if I wasn't going to get the movie, I'll support the game. Outside of it's bland gameplay and story.. the Waypool was so over the top in it. Definitely not a fan of that version of my favorite character. Dark times it was. Traded it in for Splinter Cell Blacklist, which is infinitely better (my Panther class is customized and named Deadpool ).

Here's to hoping that there's some congruency between this Deadpool creative team and the Team Deadpool of Fox films.

Excellent! Maybe we can a decent, faithful X-Men animated series on FX. You know, something for the adults.
