No, I think part of it was my fault. It was a very challenging and got everyone to jog their memory to think of those obscure characters

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Congratulations to Scott Taylor for an Amazing Adult Marvelous cover this week. The name and character were amazingly precognizant of the humor seen in many of today series. I could see parents giggling when they read the name on the book their child was reading. However, the press will probably make Tim Boo Ba's internet presence and make him (it?) a multi-page wikipedia entry.

As to what the Captain has learned this week, Horton had a point.
"Don't give up! I believe in you all.
A person's a person, no matter how small!
And you very small persons will not have to die
If you make yourselves heard! So come on, now, and TRY!"
I am relieved that the multiple Whovilles Dr Seuss came up with never form a Crisis on Infinite Whovilles.

Nice one, Scott Taylor! Tim (a variation) actually makes an appearance in Monsters Unleashed fighting to save the Earth.

Thanks all! Tons of great covers this week, and it was a very challenging contest. Tim Boo Bah would be pleased if he hadn't been drowned by an errant spill of water!

I've learned that tons of little known characters are actually quite well documented. Plus, learned alot from a very interesting side discussion about Steve Ditko and an interesting article about him and Stanton sharing an office. Amazing Fantasy is quite the mag, tons of good stories there. Tim Boo Bah was very like a Twilight Zone story.

Next contest will be up soon.
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
