I am super-pumped for this. If King & Gerads manage to stick the landing here, this series might be up there with Watchmen, and New Frontier in my books as an all-time classic.

I think that Scott somehow turned the Omega Sanction into his ideal version of life and has now decided to live in the Omega Sanction's reality.
Or this is just a case of a writer going 'too deep 4 you' to avoid criticism.
Maybe we'll get an explanation in the promised sequel?

I think the ending was DC trying to have their cake and eat it...create intrigue for where Scott is going and what kind of reality he's in, but they didn't want to leave readers who may not want to continue on feeling like they'd invested all this time in a complete fake out.
