As the article said, it's been "cancelled" from the standpoint of orders already placed for those issues.
It seems that the last two issues are delayed to an uncertain point of time, and comic book shops will have to place new orders for the issues when they get resolicited, not just having to live with the order numbers they had previously put in.

Doesn't sound too much different than what happened with the Young Animal Doom Patrol series previously this year. I'd be curious as to whether comic book shops prefer that seriously delayed books get handled like this or if they'd rather just live with the orders they originally placed before the delays.

It's distressing for a mini to have its last two issues postponed. but the series isn't cancelled. I'm still expecting issues 5 and 6.

To be honest, I was expecting an announcement like this from right after the first issue. The Allreds gained their well-deserved spotlight for being incredibly good at their job, not because they never miss a deadline. As far as I'm concerned, it'll be worth the wait for sure.
